On 23 December 2025, the Asian Arab Chamber of Commerce (AACC) hosted the India–Arab Dialogue 2025 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, bringing together business leaders, industry associations, and sector-specific representatives from across India. The dialogue was also attended by delegations and representatives from Mauritius, Latin America, and the UAE, emphasizing on the growing international interest in India’s trade engagement with Central Asia.

Kyrgyzstan, positioned at the heart of Central Asia and part of the CIS countries, offers a stable political environment, investor-friendly policies, and strategic connectivity to regional markets. Its evolving economic infrastructure and openness to foreign investment create favorable conditions for companies seeking structured and sustainable growth in the region. The gathering held in Ahmedabad served as the ideal venue for this gathering, given  its status as Gujarat’s vibrant business capital. Gujarat businesses already thrive in partnerships with CIS countries like Kyrgyzstan and the Arab world, where CIS-Arab trade volumes are substantial. As part of Asia, India bridges these networks seamlessly, while thousands of Indian students studying in Kyrgyzstan add a vital people-to-people dimension that fuels economic ties.

As a part of aligning its objective of increasing opportunities in the region, the Asian Arab Chamber of Commerce inaugurated its Gujarat office on the same day. The office aims to serve as a dedicated facilitation platform for Gujarati businesses, supporting market entry, trade linkages, and investment exploration across the Kyrgyzstan economy eventually leading to the Arab regions .

The dialogue was graced by His Excellency Mr. Kalybek Uulu Bekturgan, Head of Indian Affairs, Kyrgyz Republic, who elaborated that streamlined visa access, strong trade frameworks, and a transparent regulatory environment position Kyrgyzstan as a compelling destination for Indian businesses seeking strategic expansion across Central Asia.

Mr. Sanjeev Mulloo from Mauritius highlighted established Mauritius-UAE collaborations and robust Kyrgyzstan-UAE trade, drawing parallels between Gujarat’s France-sized population and its Gujarat-Arab centrality, while spotlighting untapped agri-processing and hydropower linked to Arab markets. Ms. Angela Maria Henao Cardona emphasized Latin America’s resource-rich, business-friendly markets and the value of multi-regional ties connecting Asia, the Arab world, Central Asia, and Latin America for sustainable global ecosystems.

Dr. Asif Iqbal, President of the Asian Arab Chamber of Commerce, announced an upcoming business delegation to Kyrgyzstan in the first quarter of 2026. The delegation aims to facilitate direct engagement with government authorities, industry stakeholders, and investment institutions, enabling Indian businesses to gain practical market insights and explore sector-specific opportunities.

The India–Arab Dialogue 2025 brought together diplomatic perspectives, sectoral knowledge, and enterprise leadership, offering businesses a clear understanding of Kyrgyzstan’s economic landscape and strengthening its positioning as a strategic destination for business expansion.
